MCS Employment & Training Programs
Merrick Community Services is dedicated to providing services aimed at starting careers and building skills for today’s job market. Merrick provides certified training programs construction, and partners with Hubbs Center and other training partners to help residents achieve career, training, and financial goals.
The following programs are offered at Merrick headquarters location at 965 Payne Avenue South, St. Paul, MN 55130:
Family Career Services

Family Career Services Info Sessions take place the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month from 10am-11am. Register.
Are you or someone you know seeking to explore careers and free local training opportunities? In addition to Merrick’s Environmental Construction Worker Training, we partner with a variety of organizations looking for persons wanting to train for in-demand careers. If you’d like to learn about the many credentialed short-term and postsecondary trainings available locally, attend our next Career Training Exploration workshop. Career Training Exploration Workshops take place the third Thursday of each month from 1pm- 3pm. Register.
Merrick’s 965 Payne Avenue location offers computers, phone, copying/faxing services, and assistance with job search activities during business hours Monday through Friday.
East Side Employment Exchange
As a core member of the East Side Economic Growth Initiative, Merrick partners with the following organizations to collaborate on employer outreach, job fairs, and recruitment for local training opportunities:
